4th Grade Seurat

Ok, so I am horrible at remembering where I found a project.  But I found a project where someone had made a pointillism picture in the style of Seurat.  They painted a scene with a lighthouse, but since we don't have many of those in South Dakota we made barns. 

It is not very often I have all of them do the same project, but I wanted them to learn how to shade with different colors of paint and how to layer them on top of each other.  We painted them with q-tip dots, because I love to hear the complaints.  The pictures were only 9x12, but you would have thought I asked them to paint a skyscraper with those q-tips.

They had the option if they wanted to outline with a marker or not.
